I've read the article. For someone who is not a medical researcher, namely ME, I find it very difficult to follow.
What I understand is:
1) That a hypothesis has been put forward that children who have mitochondrial deficiencies might be more susceptible to regressing into autism after receiving vaccinations.
2) That there is at least one or perhaps two documented cases where someone with mitochrondrial deficiencies regressed into autism after receiving vaccinations.
3) That a sub-group within the CDC are asking for additional research to determine whether this hypothesis is correct.
